My experience there isn't really much of anything to share, but if I am, which it appears so by the words you're seeing, I would say for an affordable, efficient and quick meal, this place doesn't suck hardly that much at all. It's tenured in. A staple in this community. But I wouldn't go on a first date here. More like a descending scale to the third or fourth date, if those exist anymore. Be chivalrous. Take her on a fourth date here. That's all, folks. For now...

While I'm Arkansas spending time with family, we decided to grab some Mexican food and stopped by El Charro, which came highly recommended. At first, I was against the idea because we deep in Arkansas grabbing Mexican food. That notion just didn't seem right. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the place, staff and quality of the food. The owner and staff were friendly and welcoming. We didn't have to wait too long for our food to come out. I ended up ordering chilled Verde and my girlfriend ordered enchiladas. Outside the meat being cut up differently, the chilled Verde tasted just like it does when I buy it back in California.... Delicious. The drinks were made with love and a heavy hand, which was a welcome plus. This will definitely be my go to place next time I'm in Arkansas visiting family. Until next time...

For a long time, it seemed like this restaurant was headed downhill. I don’t know what happened recently, but it feels revitalized. The food is amazing now, the rice especially. And you can see the effort they’ve put into changing the customer service and environment. We stayed away for a while, but this newer version will have us coming back every week.

I was waited on very quickly. After my delicious food arrived, they checked on my needs very often. They were there to refill my salsa as soon as I thought I might need more! My waitress anticipated that I would need another napkin before I had to ask. They really know how to make a meal wonderful, tasty, and filling. I will be going back for sure!!!

Fantastic service. We had a large crew and we're well taken care of by one guy. I was skeptical for the $10 lunch fajitas but there was plenty of food. Prices were decent with exception of a large bowl of queso which was a bit too pricey. Food was good, not disappointments for this level of Mexican fare. Would return if I was in the area.
